Flange Insulation Gasket Kit-for sealing options that need to consider cathodic corrosion

Sealgood manufactures a full range of standard flange insulation kits, including F-type (ring) gaskets, E-type (full face) gaskets, and D-type (API ring joint) gaskets. Sealgood F and E gaskets are made of 1/8 inch thick fabric-based phenolic (Nema grade CE) sheet with no coating (pure side) or nitrile rubber coating on both sides. F and E type gaskets also provide compression type non-asbestos with excellent electrical insulation properties.
A Flange insulation kit is used for a flange joint, including a gasket, sleeve, and gasket. Each flange set is firmly packed in a cardboard box and clearly marked with a clear label on the size, ASA grade, style, and material. These insulation kits can all use polyethylene or phenolic bushings. Polyethylene sleeve is standard and will be provided unless otherwise stated.
(API ring joint)-The gasket is an insulating ring joint gasket, suitable for the ring groove of the ring joint flange. The D-type central gasket is made of medium-grain fabric reinforced phenolic and is manufactured according to the ASA (ANSI) gasket size. Its performance is similar to that of a phenolic flat central gasket, and it has a basic octagonal shape. The oval shape can be ordered according to special requirements. When installing D-type gaskets, it is also recommended to wrap the tape around the outside of the flange to prevent foreign matter from entering between the exposed parts and causing the flange to "short circuit". When installing all flange insulation kits, locating pins should be used as much as possible to ensure that the flanges are properly aligned. The pin should be at least 3/32 inches (2.38 mm) larger than the bolt size.
(Full end face)-The gasket is designed to fully protect the flange and has the same outer diameter as the flange. Each washer has precisely positioned bolt holes. During installation, it is recommended to wrap the tape around the outside of the flange to prevent foreign matter from entering between the exposed parts and causing the flange to "short circuit". All E-type gaskets can be easily aligned with the inner diameter of the flange. A gasket with a slightly larger outer diameter can be provided on request.
(Ring)-The gasket is designed to fit the raised surface part of the flange. The outer diameter of the washer is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the bolt hole circle. The outer diameter is designed to be aligned by insulating sleeves. The material of the center gasket is the same as the E type. During installation, it is recommended to wrap the tape around the outside of the flange to prevent foreign matter from entering between the exposed parts and causing the flange to "short circuit".
